Unwritten is an exhibition that documents the daily lives of middle-aged women living alone, allowing them to capture their world as they experience it—through the lens of their solitude, routines, quiet joys, and unseen struggles. In contrast, an external perspective is introduced as another person photographs or illustrates their portrait, revealing the disconnect between self-perception and societal perception. This juxtaposition highlights the complexity of identity, exploring the tension between how women see themselves versus how they are seen by others.
